You need to work on your rock climbing muscles before you get to Joshua Tree

Rock climbing in Joshua National Park offers challenging courses for beginners, moderate level rock climbers, and experts alike. If you’re new to rock climbing, I highly recommend that you take at least several climbing classes before you launch yourself on a rock climbing strip. You’ll use muscles you didn’t know existed, and unless you have worked on them a bit, 3 or 4 days in Joshua Tree Park climbing can be a sore and difficult experience.

There are a variety of rock climbing instructors and guides who work in Joshua Tree. I recommend that you read through their web sites and pay special attention to the ones who proudly post client testimonials. Too many are fly-by-night outfits. Find a rock climbing guide who has worked with happy individuals and organizations. It’s your best bet at finding a guide in Joshua Tree that can make your experience magical.
